Day 2 - July 28
Sail the Atlantic Ocean
Our first day at sea was all about playing games! Before setting sail, we were sent clues for a fun scavenger hunt that Steve’s former co-worker left for us when he and his wife sailed the same itinerary back in May. We enjoyed views from the deck and spotted a some dolphins.
The first clue was- "This is a good place to hide a message for you to seek" There was a picture attached of the pool area. We found this book there.
We found the secret message inside the front cover.
The second clue was "Have you been puzzled by what Paradise looks like?" We found this puzzle in the Atrium game area.
Not seeing any notes, so we looked at the backs of all 2000 pieces, sadly no message. Found out we had the correct puzzle but the slip of paper he left for us had been removed.
The third clue was a picture of a book titles The Mystery of the Locked Rooms with the message "A mysterious and fun book that I brought, read, and donated awaits you". We found the book in the lending library. Inside he had underlined 7 words that we put in order for the secret message.
No casino onboard, but we can play poker and blackjack on the video board tables. No money required!
Keeping our minds sharp with a little game of memory!
We also tried playing air hockey, but found it very hard to control using our fingers.
Had a wonderful California cuisine inspired Chef's Table dinner.
Relaxing on the aft of the ship after dinner.
