Longyearbyen and Svalbard - Day 1
Arrived at the northern most town on the planet.
First and only polar bear encounter.
No firearms in the market.
The town's avalanche protection.
There are more snow mobiles than inhabitants.
The small white building is the entrance to the vault where all the world's seeds are kept — just in case.
Yes we stopped for a drink at a husky cafe.
Coast guard was present because the crown price and prime minister or Norway we in town to celebrate the 100th anniversary…
